Audio support is limited to DD, DD+, DD+Atmos. So it handles PGS and SRT, ASS is transcoded.

Subtitle support is the same as the Shield. Oddly all DTS formats are fine as well but it converts them to PCM. It also can not play true hd tracks with Dolby Vision as it kicks it down to HDR10. It can handle MEL but not FEL Dolby Vision. Dolby vision is mixed like the Fire Stick 4K. The Firestick 4K gets really close to this level of performance and obviously the Apple TV 4K and Shield can do it too. I tried several movies that were over 100Mbs with no issues at all. It had no problem playing over 100Mbs 4K remux over wifi.
